What is PLTest
PLTest is a Telegram bot for preparing for the Karta Polaka and Polish citizenship exam. It replaces stacks of printouts and scattered googling: all questions are structured by topic, three learning modes are available, and progress is tracked.
We started with the idea of building a simple quiz tool. But the deeper we went into the topic, the more we understood: people need not just a list of questions, but a tool that adapts to their level, reminds them of weak spots, and prepares them for the hardest scenarios — including the consul's tricky questions.
What is ready now
-
471 questions Question bank for three exams: Karta Polaka, Stały pobyt, Obywatelstwo. Every question verified against primary sources.
-
Flashcards and quiz Two learning modes: flashcards for first exposure and a quiz with multiple-choice answers. Questions appear in random order — just like the consul.
-
Mock Exam A practice exam: 20 questions, 10-minute timer, scored result. Replicates real conditions — so the format holds no surprises on exam day.
-
51 consul tricky questions Collected from forums and real post-interview reports. Exactly the questions that go beyond the standard list — Katyn, Piłsudski's horse, Polish traditions.
-
33 achievements An achievement and progress system that makes preparation less gruelling. The bot reminds and motivates — not just tests.
-
Daily reminders Configurable to your schedule. Short daily sessions are more effective than marathon cramming the night before.
What does «testing mode» mean
The bot is currently fully functional and free to use. We deliberately launched it ahead of the official start — to collect real feedback and polish the details before the wider launch.
July 7 is the date when we move from quiet beta testing to active promotion: pricing plans go live, the Telegram channel for updates opens, and we start talking about PLTest publicly.
Current status
Why now
The Karta Polaka exam is one of the few paths to Polish citizenship for those without other grounds. Demand for preparation is growing: consulate queues are getting longer, requirements are not getting simpler, and quality preparation tools have been missing.
PLTest was built not as another list of questions to download, but as a real trainer — with a spaced-repetition logic, adaptation to weak spots, and real tricky questions from practice. We are ready to show what we built.
What happens after July 7
Soft launch is not the end — it is the beginning of active development based on feedback. On the near-term roadmap:
- Expanding the bank to 600+ questions (categories kp_osoby, kp_symb, kp_trad)
- Preparation mode by specific consulate (different cities — different difficulty)
- Saving «mistake questions» — a dedicated trainer for weak spots
- Regular updates to tricky questions from new interview reports

The bot is open right now. Start with a few questions — five minutes will show you more than an hour of reading.
